“Outer” seems to have been derived from the English use of the word “out” as a verb. Googling “outai” I came across an entry in Wiktionnaire ( ) for the French verb “outer”. I’m a total word nerd, but not very fluent in French, so I’m probably going way out on a limb here. I’m fascinated by the use of “outai” in the title and am wondering if there’s more to it than just a whimsical unconventional spelling of “où t’es”.
